Fall Property Update

A Look at Our Recently Completed Projects – and More on the Way

Our rehab crews have been hard at work this fall, working on houses in Columbus and Lexington. We’ve had so many projects turn out so well lately through our qualified Opportunity Zone funds in Ohio and Kentucky, we thought now would be a great time to share them.

Hawkins Street

The beginning of September marked the completion of this Hawkins Street house in Lexington. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom house now has bamboo hardwood and tile floors. On top of that, it has the commitment to sustainability seen in all of the properties we rehab, including money-saving (and low-maintenance) tankless hot water heater; efficient HVAC; fiberglass, blown-in and spray foam insulation; and insulated, double-hung windows.

Ohio Street

This East End Lexington ranch was finished up by our rehab crews toward the beginning of September. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 1,358 square feet of space, the Ohio Street house has a wealth of cost efficient upgrades, including the same type of bamboo hardwood and tile floors as in our Hawkins Street property. In addition, insulation upgrades, including spray foam insulation in the basement, will keep this home cozy in the winters. We did work to retain some of the home’s character, including restoration of a spectacular fireplace.

Race Street

We just finished up this two-bedroom, two-bathroom house in late October. We put in all-new flooring, paint, lighting and ceiling fans to give it a completely new look.

Chestnut Street

This property on Chestnut Street, finished in late October, is truly a sight to behold now that our team is done with it. The four-bedroom, three-bathroom house now sports brand-new hardwood flooring, as well as new appliances and beautifully restored front porch, back deck and detached garage. We’re proud of the great look this spacious home now has, both inside and out.

More to Come

The Nest home rehab team is hard at work on a variety of new properties, including three recent acquisitions on Eddie Street in Lexington and an eight-unit building in Columbus.
